    Dissertation Title: Variational Calculations of Vibrational Structure in Polyatomic Molecules

    The dissertation presents the method of vibrational configuration interaction for calculating properties of molecules in excited vibrational states. The method is applied to hydrogen cyanide, ammonia, and methyl fluoride.
