The delegations at the MOAS spent the day working on, debating, and caucasing for their proposed draft resolutions. Two of the groups from Hampden-Sydney had their draft resolutions passed. The General Committee (Connor Crowley, Alex Abbot) had their proposal, which focused on strengthening democracy in the Western Hemisphere by eradicating poverty throught the implementation of work training programs. With support from the delegation of Bolivia, the resolution passed after being amended.
The Second Committee (Orion Ray and Carson Pitts) passed their resolution which focused on developing a database that the member states of the Organization of American States would use in an effort to combat violent crimes committed with illegal weapons. After a lot of debate, the delegation of Ecuador (H-SC) had their resolution passed.
