This is a Learning Community for students who are interested in developing their physical and emotional potential through fitness, healthy eating and cooking habits, and practicing positive coping strategies to manage life stressors. Students will be enrolled together in a section of Introduction to Psychology, which will satisfy one of the College's core curriculum requirements. Outside of class, students will participate in bike excursions and hikes. Members of the Community will meet together to learn stress reduction techniques, to cook healthy meals, and to be exposed to the latest cutting edge research on fitness and nutrition. If you've been fit and active your whole life and want to continue on that path, or if you want to make a healthy change at College, this Community will help make it possible.
