The Fund for Education Abroad

The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) is an independent not-for-profit organization.  The FEA's mission is to expand the opportunities for US students to participate in education abroad programs through scholarships and grants. The next application cycle will open in October 2012 and will be for students planning to study abroad in the 2013-2014 academic year (i.e. Summer 2013, Fall 2013, Spring 2014).

Goals and Objectives

• To assist committed students in the acquisition of critical foreign language skills.

• To cultivate American students' world awareness and appreciation of cultural differences through academic and experiential opportunities.

• To support institutions and organizations active in socially responsible education abroad programs.

• To recognize outstanding education abroad leaders.
