Alumni Career Services

We want to continue to build on the Hampden-Sydney tradition of success with you, our alumni. We are still at your service after graduation. If you need career advice, feel free to call us, e-mail us, or come visit us. We can assist you with your resume, help you get connected with other H-SC alumni, and provide guidance on a number of other career issues.

If you're in the position where you want to recruit a fellow alumnus or current student, we are more than happy to assist. Send a job description detailing the position, experience requirements, company details, and salary information to Becca Snyder Shelton at rshelton@hsc.edu. We can post positions for new and recent graduates on TigerConnections, our online job board.  We will also post and share positions for more experienced individuals through various mediums shared by the Career Education and Alumni Relations Offices.

How else can you support our office? We always value contributions of your time and experience to our students, whether you teach them about an industry, give advice, or serve as a resource in a number of ways. For more information, contact Ellen Masters at (434) 223-6106 or emasters@hsc.edu.

We offer you the same career counseling services that the current generation of Hampden-Sydney students receive. We will be happy to help you develop or update a resume, establish contacts within the H-SC alumni community, and discover your next steps. Please call us at (434) 223-6106 to get the conversation started, or e-mail career@hsc.edu. You can also access career tips and information at www.facebook.com/hsccareers and on Twitter @hsccareers.
