"As much as Professor Lewis wants you to learn technique and skills, he also wants you to be comfortable doing your work in the studio, whether you're drawing or painting or print making. He wants you to be very hands-on and that's kind of a cool deal."

"Forever I am indebted to Hampden-Sydney College because they gave me free education, a free education to a stranger to the country. I guess, in a way, I was adopted by Hampden-Sydney College."

Education
M.Ed., VCU, 2011 B.S., Longwood University, 2005
As a native Virginian and Longwood University graduate I'm glad to call this area home. After graduating from Longwood I spent a few years finding my career niche, often working jobs that were not a good fit. Life tends not to be a linear path, personally or professionally, and I welcome you to visit with me to talk about your professional path. In Career Education we have the tools to teach you professional development, but the first step lies with you. Please call for an appointment, or walk in and make the first step to success on and off The Hill. I also work with the Office of Fellowship Advising, and I can advise and talk with you about some of the prestigious scholarships available to help you reach your goals.
