Hampden-Sydney College participates in The Outcomes Survey, a national survey of graduates' first-destination outcomes. It allows H-SC to gather important data on our graduates' career outcomes, which are an integral part of program rankings, such as U.S. News & World Report and Business Week.

Why This Data Matters
Each graduate has a different first-destination outcome; it is simply what a student chooses to do after graduation. Whether our graduates pursue full-time or part-time employment, graduate school, volunteering, military service, a gap year, or still seeking employment - all information is important to us and makes each graduating class unique in their pursuits.
When We Ask for Outcomes
Data is collected via email at time of graduation, 3, 6, and 12 months out.

We share this information with our constituents to show the great things that our graduates accomplish. Alumni, parents and friends of the College, and faculty and staff of Hampden-Sydney are all invested in our students' success, and enjoy knowing where our graduates end up.
All responses are confidential and anonymous; we only report on numbers, not individual names. Your participation is voluntary, although many questions have an "I'd rather not answer" option. More information about Informed Consent.
