Obligations of Seniors

• EXIT INTERVIEW WITH DEAN STEVENS
  Each year it is custom for each senior to meet with the Provost and Dean of the Faculty in an exit interview. The interview can be scheduled during the final semester and provides the College with comments and other feedback about individual experiences at Hampden-Sydney College. The senior's comments are confidential; the information is compiled and contributes to the plans for the future of the College.

• FINANCIAL AID AND LOAN PROGRAMS
  A student who has borrowed from the College is required to participate in a financial aid exit interview. Notices will be sent to students in mid-April if such counseling sessions apply. Please contact Lynn Clements at (434) 223-6275 (Stafford Loan programs) or Shirley Robertson at (434) 223-6308 (Booker-Stebbins or Perkins Loan program), if you have any questions.
  
  
• BUSINESS OFFICE
  Students must have all financial obligations settled with the College before they may receive their diploma or have transcripts released. Please call Cindy Jones, Student Accounts Manager, at (434) 223-6223 if you have any questions regarding financial obligations.
  
  
• OFFICIAL ROOM CHECK OUT
  Seniors should make an appointment with their RA to complete official check-out. Rooms should be clean and free of debris or personal property. Failure to check out of your room with the RA will result in a $50 fine in addition to any charges for debris or damage.
  
  Seniors who wish to remain in their rooms through Commencement weekend should obtain approval from Dean Lawson by Monday, May 6. Students with access to their rooms through the weekend must be checked out by 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 12, following Commencement.
