Obligations of Seniors

  • EXIT INTERVIEW WITH DEAN STEVENS
If any graduating senior wishes to schedule an exit interview with the Provost and Dean of the Faculty, he should call for an appointment at (434) 223-6112. The interview can be scheduled at any point during the final semester. All comments are confidential; the information from all exit interviews is compiled to improve our planning efforts for the future of the College.

    FINANCIAL AID AND LOAN PROGRAMS
  • A student who has borrowed from the College is required to participate in a financial aid exit interview. Notices will be sent to students in mid-April if such counseling sessions apply. Please contact Lynn Clements at (434) 223-6275 (Federal Direct Stafford Loans) or Shirley Robertson at (434) 223-6308 (Booker-Stebbins or Perkins Loan program), if you have any questions.

  • BUSINESS OFFICE
Students must have all financial obligations settled with the College before they may receive their diploma or have transcripts released. Please contact Marianne Congleton, Student Accounts Manager, at (434) 223-6223 if you have any questions regarding financial obligations.

  • OFFICIAL ROOM CHECK OUT
Seniors should make an appointment with their RA to complete official check-out. Rooms should be clean and free of debris or personal property. Failure to check out of your room with the RA will result in a $50 fine in addition to any charges for debris or damage.

All College-owned student residences will be closed, locked, and vacated at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 11, 2014.  Seniors must turn in their room housing key to the B&G Department by 7:00 p.m.
