The Kirby Field House contains the Fleet gymnasium, home to Hampden-Sydney's basketball team, a Fitness Center (completed in 2004) as well as the Leggett Pool. The center sports the latest in fitness equipment, weights, racquetball, handball, and coaches' offices.

Lake Mayes is located beside Kirby Field House with Lagoon Field beyond that. Tadpole Hole is behind the Field House.
