Professional Development
Hampden-Sydney College encourages professional development for all its employees. This development may include off-campus professional development, annual organizational meetings, and on-campus workshops. Expenses for these programs may be covered by employees' departmental budgets. Released time may be granted during working hours for participation in approved professional development programs. Arrangements must be made and approved in advance by the immediate supervisor.
