Junior Adam O'Donnell from Nashville, Tennessee, was drawn to Hampden-Sydney by the sense of brotherhood and the strong connection that alumni have with each other. The rigorous academics, combined with student leadership opportunities created an environment where Adam has excelled. Adam created his own company, Advantage Surface Cleaning, and now has clients in Tennessee and Virginia. Majoring in Economics, Adam serves as a Resident Advisor and is now the Chairman of the Student Senate. "Service is part of the equation for every Hampden-Sydney student, and I want to make sure that I give something back." In recognition of O'Donnell's achievements, the College awarded him the Sullivan Scholarship last year.
