On Friday, September 10, seniors, alumni and staff gathered to enjoy conversation, dinner and to celebrate the official kick-off of the Class of 2011 Senior Campaign.  Conor Sanders, Campaign Chairman, announced that this year's scholarship is in honor of Dean Anita H. Garland for her 30 years of dedicated service to Hampden-Sydney College.  In just four short days, the campaign has already raised over $3,000 and is well on its way to achieving the $5,000 goal.  The Class hopes to fund two scholarships ($2,500 each) in Anita's name.
