Paying the Costs
Hampden-Sydney College is among the elite colleges and universities participating in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program, a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008 administered by the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
Hampden-Sydney College will contribute up to $10,500 yearly to your education which is matched by the VA through the Yellow Ribbon Program. These dollars are in addition to those that a qualified veteran would receive through the Post-9/11 GI bill, which in Hampden-Sydney's case would be $17,500 per year.
