Hampden-Sydney College senior Andrew Nance recently presented his Summer Research Honors Project in a public presentation at the College. Andrew is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.
Andrew's project was entitled, "Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation as an Intervention to Modulate Synaptic Plasticity: A Qualitative Rat Model Pilot Study." A psychology major, he is a graduate of Harrells Christian Academy and is the son of Bill & Cindy Nance of Clinton and Betty Nance of Roseboro.
