Hampden-Sydney College Class of 2013, Austin Jon Sheppard presented his Summer Research Honors Project in a public presentation at the College.
Austin is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.
Austin's project, for rhetoric, was entitled, "Common Character: Biographical profiles."
He is a graduate of New Bern High School (NC).
