Hampden-Sydney College junior JJ Strosnider recently presented his Summer Research Honors Project in a public presentation at the College. JJ is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.
JJ's project was entitled, "Non-Odd-Weighted Payouts in The Path-Guessing Game." An applied mathematics and mathematical economics major, he is a graduate of Carrboro High School and is the son of Dr. Jay K. Strosnider & Dr. Dorothy E Setliff of Chapel Hill.
