Hampden-Sydney College senior Jack Gibson recently presented his Summer Research Honors Project in a public presentation at the College. Jack is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.
Jack's project was entitled, "The Transformation of Virginia Servitude." A history major, he is a graduate of Norfolk Academy and is the son of Mariska & John Gibson of Virginia Beach.
