Hampden-Sydney College senior Kyle Gilbert recently presented his Summer Research Honors Project in a public presentation at the College. Kyle is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.
Kyle's project was entitled, "Quantum Indeterminism Provides Room for Freedom in Human Action." A physics and philosophy major, he is a graduate of StoneBridge School and is the son of Kevin & Patti Gilbert of Portsmouth.
