Hampden-Sydney College Class of 2013, Kyle Matthew Harshey presented his Summer Research Honors Project in a public presentation at the College.
Kyle is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.
Kyle's project, for psychology, was entitled, "Whisking for water: The regulation of texture discrimination by the thalamic reticular nucleus."
He is a graduate of Shades Valley High School (AL).
