Hampden-Sydney College Class of 2013, William Riley Boone presented his Summer Research Honors Project in a public presentation at the College.
Will is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.
Will's project, for astronomy, was entitled, "Measuring variability of quasars using the Hampden-Sydney observatory and PROMPT."
He is a graduate of Riverside High School (NC).
