Bill Shear & Illacme plenipes, the Leggiest Animal

William Shear, Hampden-Sydney Trinkle Professor of Biology, and his co-authors, Paul E. Marek and Jason Bond, have published "A rediscription of the leggiest animal, the millipede Illacme plenipes, with notes on its natural history biogeography" in Zookeys, a peer-reviewed, open-access, online and print, journal launched to support free exchange of ideas and information in systematic zoology, phylogeny and biogeography.
