Induction into the Patrick Henry Society is a special way of honoring our alumni for their 50 years of steadfast loyalty to their alma mater. Twenty-seven years ago, on April 24, 1986, the Patrick Henry Society at Hampden-Sydney College was formed by the 50th reunion Class of 1936. Members of the Class of 1936 believed that the name Patrick Henry Society gave dignity to this distinguished band of brothers and would be a most fitting way to honor all graduates in their 50th anniversary year and those who had passed through these gates in years prior.
One of the many benefits of the Patrick Henry Society event is the annual opportunity to renew friendships with classmates. This year, the Class of 1964 celebrates its 50th Reunion on June 6-8, 2014.
Join fellow members of the Patrick Henry Society for a luncheon honoring the Class of 1964 on the occasion of their 50th Reunion and their induction into the Society on Saturday, June 7 at 12 PM. Plan to stay and enjoy the Summer College sessions and a full weekend of events on The Hill.
