Patrick Henry Society &
50th Reunion of the
Class of 1963
May 31-June 2, 2013
"I like to travel and I like the lifestyle of this kind of work, getting to know people and to learn about different cultures. It's very rewarding."
Induction into the Patrick Henry Society is a special way of honoring our alumni for their 50 years of steadfast loyalty to their alma mater. Twenty-six years ago, on April 24, 1986, the Patrick Henry Society at Hampden-Sydney College was formed by the 50th reunion Class of 1936. Members of the Class of 1936 believed that the name Patrick Henry Society gave dignity to this distinguished band of brothers and would be a most fitting way to honor all graduates in their 50th anniversary year and those who had passed through these gates in years prior.
One of the many benefits of the Patrick Henry Society event is the annual opportunity to renew friendships with classmates. Planning for the 50th reunion begins in earnest at the 45th reunion, as the committee begins to reconnect with members of their class.
Plans are underway for the Class of 1963 to celebrate its 50th Reunion on May 31 - June 2, 2013. See the schedule for more details!
