President and Mrs. Howard attend the Presidential Inauguration

On Monday, January 21, President and Mrs. Chris Howard attended the second inauguration of the 44th President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama. While in Washington D.C. for the inaugural festivities, the Howards also attended The Root Inaugural Ball, Newsweek Magazine & The Daily Beast's Bipartisan Brunch, and the Commander in Chief's Ball with his Air Force Academy classmate Colonel Rod Lewis and his wife Mechelle. Dr. Howard would like to thank his host, Senator Mark Warner, for a spectacular weekend, and also thank Congressman Robert Hurt, H-SC Class of 1991, for hosting Mrs. Howard and him in Hurt's office for a reception following the inauguration ceremonies.
