On November 15 at the Moton Museum, President Howard, along with Moton director, Lacy Ward, Jr., presented the "Our Schools Our Vision" t-shirt to the Honorable Ron Dellums, former Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) and US Representative from Oakland and Berkeley, CA.
Congressman Dellums received a "Growing Solutionists" Award from the Gloucester Institute-- whose president, the Honorable Kay Cole James, is seated in the photo -- and the Moton Museum.
President Howard interned at the HASC as an Air Force Academy cadet and later wrote his dissertation on the Committee prominently featuring Congressman Dellums' work."
