On November 15, Hampden-Sydney alumni, parents and friends, and students participating in the Wilson Center annual trip to Washington, DC, gathered at the offices of J.P. Morgan Guaranty Trust for a talk by Eric Schmitt, a senior writer who covers terrorism and national security issues for The New York Times.
Schmitt spoke about his new book, Counterstrike: The Untold Story of America's Secret Campaign Against Al Qaeda.
