President Howard met with the members of Hampden-Sydney's sporting clays club on Friday, April 27. The sporting clays club became an official club this year and already boasts nearly a dozen members. They enjoyed a very successful inaugural season behind strong alumni support.

Steve McDavid, the President of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation, visited Hampden-Sydney on Thursday, April 26. The Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation was not named directly for H-SC's namesake, Algernon Sydney. It is named after Mr. Sullivan who was named for that same Algernon Sydney.
