Two Types of Clubs: Funded and Independent
All student clubs and organizations must be approved by the Assistant Dean for Greek Life and Student Activities in order to exist on the campus; their activities must support the educational mission of the College.
Most student clubs and organizations have been granted funding by the Student Senate, through the Student Finance Committee, and are subject to its regulations.
Groups which are self-supporting, while requiring consent by the Dean of Students for their existence, do not fall under the governance of the SFC.
Both funded and independent groups have equal validity as approved extracurricular activities.
