Constitution of Outsiders' Club

PREAMBLE

The Outsiders Club has been an organization that has been affiliated with Hampden-Sydney College since the early 1970’s. For over four decades this club has allowed the Hampden-Sydney community to “go out into the wild.” This club is iconic of the Hampden-Sydney persona that we as a community of southern gentlemen seek to uphold. The Outdoors Club provides students who are interested in the great outdoors an outlet to engage in male camaraderie. We, the members of the Outsiders Club, feel that this club is a key component of the Hampden-Sydney experience. The club participates in numerous hiking, fishing, canoeing, climbing, etc. activities. This club both upholds the values of Hampden-Sydney College and provides fun activities for those whom are interested in the "Great Outdoors."
