Students will review their class schedules and learn valuable techniques to ensure a successful start to their academic career at Hampden-Sydney.
10 am - 12 pm - Tiger Fair (F) (T), Kirk Athletic Center (Snyder Hall)
Each student will have to opportunity to meet with staff members from College offices and programs that provide services to students. This is a great opportunity to learn about what the College has to offer outside of the classroom! Staff will be glad to provide you with information and answer any questions.
10:00 am - 11:30 am; 1 pm - 5 pm - Individual meetings with Advisors (F) (T), Same location as Saturday's Academic Advising session
Each student will meet one-on-one with his advisor to review his class schedule and learn more about the College's academic requirements.

12:30pm - 1 pm - Pre-Professional Info Sessions, Panill Commons, Settle Hall
Students interested in healthcare professions (medicine, dentistry, physical therapy), in engineering and physics, in the legal profession, or in a military career should attend these informative sessions.

Students will have time to visit the H-SC Bookstore, the Computing Center, and other campus resources. Students who do not already have an ID will be able to have their IDs made in the Computing Center.
5:30 pm - 6 pm - Class of 2016 Tree-planting, Via Sacra
6 pm - 7 pm - Cookout at the Kleins (F) (T), Thornton Place (rain location: Snyder Hall)
Meet the Student Affairs staff and enjoy good food at the Dean's house
7:30 pm - 10 pm - "Chill on the Hill", Outside the residence halls
Relax and have fun before the start of classes with a variety of student-led activities.
