Thanks for visiting the Student Life pages. As Assistant Dean of Students, First and Second Year Programs, my responsibilities include the oversight of our student clubs and organizations, the College Activities Committee (CAC), and the Interfraternity Council (IFC). On any given day you might find me helping a student develop a new club to represent one of his personal interests; helping CAC book a nationally acclaimed band for their annual Homecoming and Greek Week concerts; or advising our fraternities on the importance of peer leadership, community service, risk reduction practices and more.

I loved Hampden-Sydney as a student and after spending several years finding my way in the "real world," I'm thrilled to be back on campus to help our students develop the skills and gain the experience they'll need to find their own ways after graduation. I stand by our slogan, "You can do anything with a degree from Hampden-Sydney," and I take pride in empowering our gentlemen to demonstrate they can also do anything while still a student. Our 'student-centric' approach to education and extracurricular activities provides leadership opportunities galore for students from all walks of life.
