Typical Sanctions imposed by Student Justice System

Sanctions for Substance Use/Abuse Infractions of the Code of Student Conduct

Note: The Student Justice System is not bound by precedent. Rather, the members of the system take into consideration the unique circumstances of each incident in order to determine the sanction that best enables learning and development for the student involved. However, the Student Justice System does seek consistency in its delivery of sanctions. Therefore, there are standard responses to routine infractions of the Code of Student Conduct related to substance use and abuse. Each incident can be mitigated by particular circumstances.
