Patrick Henry Public Service Awards 2004

President Walter M. Bortz III presents
a Patrick Henry Public Service Award to Mr. W. Robert (Bob) Eason '40. A high point of the year at the Wilson Center for Leadership is always the presentation of the Patrick Henry Public Service Awards. These awards are given annually to H-SC alumni whose lives have been distinguished by their dedication to public service. This year they were presented on Friday, April 30 at the conclusion of the Wilson Center spring banquet.

The 2004 Patrick Henry Public Service award recipients are: Mr. H. Stetson Tinkham '67, Alexandria, VA; Dr. Carrol Cloninger '61, Aylett, VA; and Mr. W. Robert Eason '40, Orange, VA. To view the detailed H-SC news article about the event, click here.

They were guests of honor at the banquet which was also attended by their spouses and/or family members,Wilson Center staff and Advisory Board members, members of the Alumni Council, Pres. and Mrs. Bortz, and both junior and senior Public Service Certificate Program students.
