Lt. Col. Bill Cowan (USM, ret)

January 29, 2009 - Fox News Military analyist Lt. Col. William Cowan (Marine Corps, ret) spoke at Hampden-Sydney. Cowan is current head of the military firm, WVC3 Group, Inc. and former participant in the Pentagon's military analyst program.

Cowan shared a variety of experiences from his storied career and shared his thoughts on several issues related to the previous and current administatrion, including various cabinet-level appointees.

The event was sponsored by the Military Leadership/National Security Studies Program of the Wilson Center, and was free and open to the public.

Following his presentation, Cowan joined students, faculty, and others at the Tiger Inn for further
discussion of several topics, including Cowan's role in tackling hostage situations in Kuwait and Iran.
