Dr. Charles W. Sydnor

Dr. Charles W. Sydnor, Jr. accepts the James Madison award.

The James Madison Award was presented to Dr. Charles W. Sydnor, Jr. on Friday, May 26, 2006. The presentation took place in Crawley Forum prior to the start of the first concert of the Hampden-Sydney 2006 Music Festival.

This time and place was chosen because, in his position as President and CEO of the Commonwealth Broadcasting Corporation, Dr. Sydnor has supported the live broadcast and taping of various concerts of the Music Festival.

Dr. Sydnor has also participated on a number of Wilson Center programs through the years at Crawley Forum, as a panelist and as a moderator. He has also provided assistance to the Wilson Center in obtaining other speakers.
