logo  The Wilson Center has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Apgar Foundation to support programs associated with the James Madison Project ("A National Initiative to Enrich the Education of Men for Principled Citizenship and Leadership") for the 2013-14 academic year.  The Center has raised in excess of $55,000 for the James Madison Project in the past twelve months.  Funds from this year's Apgar Foundation grant have been used to support visits by Ambassador Eric Edelman and Professors James Ceaser (UVA), Peter Lawler (Berry College) and Paul Cantor (UVA), workshops for students in the Freshman Leadership Program, a fall trip to Capitol  Hill, and summer internships.    Additional support for the James Madison Project has come from alumni and friends of the Wilson Center
