 WHAT IS THE FICC?
J.B. Fuqua, an Atlanta industrialist, donated the funds to establish this media center to foster and enhance international education and understanding through the use of media and technology.

The Fuqua International Communications Center (FICC) is located on Floor 1 of The Bortz Library on the campus of Hampden-Sydney College. The Center houses the audio/visual collections of the Library and provides a range of multimedia services for the Hampden-Sydney community.

The FICC seeks to encourage the appropriate use of media by students and faculty in the educational process at Hampden-Sydney. Our role in this process changes to meet the particular requirements of the interested students and faculty. Our services range from circulating audio/visual resources, to consulting on projects involving instructional technology and working with patrons to produce educational media.
