Psychology 313: Sensation
and Perception
3 Hours
An examination of sensory systems and perceptual
processes. The senses are considered in terms of their respective
physical stimuli, receptor systems, neural structures, and
psychophysical data. Topics in perception include attention,
feature detection, depth perception, perceptual organization, and
perceptual illusions.
Prerequisite(s): Psychology 101 or 102
Recommended: Psychology 301
