With nearly 95% of the College’s students receiving scholarships based on academic accomplishment or financial need, the Scholarship Endowment is a large area of need for the College.
MR. & MRS. CHUCK LUCAS ’59 have graciously donated his cherished 1957 T-Bird to the College to establish such a scholarship. With approximately 61,000 actual miles, the car is a collector's dream. The Lucas Family Scholarship will benefit a student attending Hampden-Sydney College.
The College decided to raffle the car to give as many as possible an opportunity to drive away in the T-Bird. Purchase a ticket through our secure online form for $250 (not a tax deductible gift). Your chances are 1 in 500 to win.
