New Hall of Fame Gallery dedicated on behalf of Dr. Willette L. LeHew, M.D. '57 HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (October 31, 2008)—The Hampden-Sydney College Athletics Department inducted its 21st class of Hall of Fame athletes last Saturday, October 25.
Earlier that morning, College President Dr. Walter M. Bortz III and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Thomas N. Allen '60 led the dedication ceremony of the new Hall of Fame wing in the recently renovated Gammon Gymnasium. LeHew, M.D. '57, the state-of-the-art gallery, which features two flat screen televisions and a touch-screen, interactive display, was finally unveiled to the public on Hall of Fame weekend.
