Camp Location
The camp is held on the campus of Hampden-Sydney College, located near the historic town of Farmville, Va. Campers will have an opportunity to work with outstanding coaches while spending five days on the campus of the nations tenth oldest college.
Facilities
All campus facilities are at the disposal of camp participants. The camp utilizes the H-SC football practice fields. Overnight campers are housed in a dormitory and the campus pool facility is available during specific times.
Dining
All meals are served in the Pannill Commons. The food service at Hampden-Sydney is widely recognized as one of the finest in the country and provides a nutritious and well-balanced menu.
Equipment
Practices are conducted in shorts and t-shirts. Campers must provide their own football cleats and sneakers. In addition, campers should bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes for the five-day period.
Registration
Camp registration will be held on Sunday, July 13, at 4 pm, at Crawley Forum.
Cost
The camp is open to all students, ages 9 to 17. The cost for overnight campers is
$365 and $250 for day campers. The camp fee includes instructions and a camp t-shirt. A non-refundable $100 deposit must accompany the application.
Daily Schedule
Each day includes two practice sessions plus an evening passing scrimmage. Campers receive personal instruction from the Hampden-Sydney football coaching staff in each session. Day campers should arrive by 9 am and may leave at 4:30 pm.
Checkout
The camp ends following lunch on Thursday, July 17. Approximate checkout time is 2 pm.
Medical Care, Insurance
A certified athletic trainer will be present for all practice sessions.
The Hampden-Sydney Fire Department, located less than a mile away, has a
first-responder emergency medical team on call 24 hours a day. Southside
Community Hospital, located in Farmville, is convenient to the College.
All campers are covered by supplemental accident insurance.
Coaches
Successful college and high school coaches present an outstanding camp. They work to give each camper a meaningful experience. The ratio of campers to coach is less than
10 to 1.

*Led Hampden-Sydney to 2007 ODAC Championship.
*47.2 points-per-game average led NCAA Division III in 2003.
*42-18 record in six seasons as Hampden-Sydney head coach.
*Top-ranked offense in the ODAC in 2003, 2004 & 2005. *Offense has averaged
41.0
points-per-game over its last 40 contests.
*Previously, while offensive coordinator at Catholic University (1994-1999),
Favret-led offense set over 75 school records.
*Three consecutive NCAA Division III playoff appearances and 29-1 record at
Catholic from 1997-1999.
*Claimed ODAC title at Catholic in 1999.
*Coach Favret has run football camps for the past 18 years.
