2004-05:  Boykin had a solid start to his Hampden-Sydney golf career in the fall of 2004 as he ranked third on the team with a 77.8 stroke average through six rounds of action… Scored two top-five finishes with a third-place effort at the Tom Kinder Memorial after a round of 75 and a fifth-place finish in the Tom O’Briant Memorial after shooting a season-low round of 73.

High School Career:  Boykin joins the Tiger golf team in 2004 after a solid high school career at Cox High School in Virginia Beach… Boykin played at both the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the team for four years, earning Co-Player of the Year in the Beach District and earning medalist honors in the Beach District Championship… Participated in the 2004 Virginia State Amateur Championship.
