2004-05:  Combs saw action in all four fall tournaments in 2004 and ranked fifth on the team with a 79.5 stroke average through six rounds of play… Scored a season-best 11^th-place finish in the Virginia Intercollegiate Championships with rounds of 79 and 73 for a two-day total of 152.

High School Career:  Combs is another Hampton Roads recruit for the Tigers in 2004 as he joins the team from Menchville High School in Newport News… Combs played golf for four years at Menchville and was a two-time district champion and two-time Daily Press All Star Player of the Year… His team was the 2004 AAA Region and AAA State Champion.
