Hampden-Sydney's winning percentage was the best in the men's division in the recent Virginia Sports Information Directors Association College Division All-Sports Survey. The survey ranks all 27 non-NCAA Division I schools in the state by overall winning percentage. The 70.3% winning percentage was helped in great part by football, soccer, and lacrosse who all had their best records in program history. This past year marked the highest winning percentage in school history while it marks the first time Hampden-Sydney has won the men's division. While winning the men's division, the Tigers finished second overall, trailing behind Christopher Newport, which won 72% of all of its contests. Following the Tiger's in the overall percentage was Virginia Wesleyan (61.4%), Mary Washington (59.2%), and Lynchburg (59%). more...
