MAJOR WALT CASEBOLT
Volunteer Assistant Coach
Third Season
Walt Casebolt is in his third season as a Hampden-Sydney
assistant coach and his primary duties this season will be
couseling the student-athletes. Casebolt is a retired Marine
Infantry Officer with combat experience at the platoon,
company and battalion level. He holds a graduate degree
in counseling and is presently working toward his doctorate
in Psychology.
Casebolt lives in Farmville with his lovely wife Krista.
LEXI BOSWELL
Assistant Athletic Trainer
High Point University
First Season
Lexi Boswell is in her first year as the assistant athletic
trainer at Hampden-Sydney College. Before joining the
Hampden-Sydney Athletic Training staff, Boswell attended
High Point University in North Carolina, where she received
a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. She then attended
California University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 2004
with a master’s degree in Advanced Athletic Training.
While at Cal U, Boswell fulfilled her graduate assistantship
at Washington and Jefferson College working with a variety
of sports including volleyball, men’s and women’s water
polo, wrestling, and men’s lacrosse. She also wrote her
Master’s Thesis entitled Certified Athletic Trainer’s Knowledge
of the Female Athlete Triad.
Boswell works with the Hampden-Sydney lacrosse team and
assists with the football team. Originally from Winchester,
VA, Boswell currently lives in Farmville.
