Hampden-Sydney’s Ryan Harrington (Dallas, TX/Plano) started things off in the second half with a goal at the 10:03 mark of the third quarter. McChesney then followed with his first of four second-half goals with 3:23 left in the period. Dan Feathers added a goal for the Marlins at the 11:40 mark, but McChesney’s fourth of the half, followed by Jennings’ lone goal, put the game away for the Tigers. Dan Hofmeister finished off the scoring for both teams with the Marlins’ final goal with 35 seconds left to play. Overall, Hampden-Sydney held a 44-25 advantage in shots and a 58-28 advantage in ground balls.
