College: A two-sport athlete...Buckingham joins the varsity lacrosse team after finishing the 2004 soccer season as the starting goalie.
 

High School: Three-year member of the varsity lacrosse team...Also a starting goalkeeper for the varsity soccer team...Named two-time all-prep and two-time All-Tidewater...Recieved second team all-state honors and earned defensive MVP recognition while setting the school record with 19 saves in one game...Additionally, played varsity basketball in 2002 and recieved the coaches award.

Personal: Son of Richard and Missy Buckingham...Has two sisters, Mary (24) and Claiborne (18).
