HAMPDEN-SYDNEY'S HELLMUTH-PRITZLAFF FIELD

Thanks to the generous donations of alumni, parents and friends of the Hampden-Sydney College lacrosse program, the College has completed construction on a FieldTurf field.  Ground breaking began in early May and the ribbon cutting ceremony to dedicate the field took place on Saturday, September 23, prior to the lacrosse Tigers intra-squad scrimmage.   The field lies directly between Rostan Field, the lacrosse practice facility, and the football practice fields.  Now completed, the field will serve as a practice facility to the lacrosse, soccer and football teams and will be an occasional game facility for lacrosse and soccer.

Head Lacrosse Coach Ray Rostan spoke during the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Dedication for the New Hellmuth-Pritzlaff Field

Many fans enjoyed the scrimmage from the hill.  The intra-squad scrimmage contained a lot of exciting Lacrosse action.
