HAMPDEN-SYDNEY LAX COMPETES AT VAIL SHOOTOUT
Alums and current players participate in tournament

(July 8, 2009) VAIL, CO - For the first time in the most recent Vail Shootout in Vail, CO Hampden-Sydney College alumni and current players put together a team in the Elite Division to compete in the 20 team tournament. The team, Collared Greens, was run by former All-Americans Randy Ashton '00 and Jeremy Bull '05 and finished sixth overall with a 2-2 record.

The team featured 20 lacrosse alumni, including former All-Americans Alex Pritzlaff '08, John Pritzlaff '06, Ryan Fassnacht '05, Vince Smith '06, Chris Lucas '03, and Ryan Harrington '07,  and three current players.

Hampden-Sydney Hall of Fame inductee and 1989 All-American midfielder Brad Johnson '89 also competed in the tournament in the Supermasters Division with his team, Millennium/Rock-it Pocket. Johnson and team Millennium went 4-0 and won the championship.
