PARENTS COUNCIL

The Hampden-Sydney College Parents Council, whose membership is comprised of parents of current students, strives to enhance the awareness of parents and promote their active involvement in the life of Hampden-Sydney College.

The Council serves the College in various advisory and supportive roles and seeks to foster a sense of community among parents; to facilitate communication between parents and the College; and to enlist parents’ participation in various efforts serving the goals of the College. The Council endeavors to provide an opportunity for parents to contribute their time, expertise, and financial support in fulfilling the mission of the College.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
The quality of a Hampden-Sydney College education depends on generous gifts made each year to the Annual Fund by all members of the Hampden-Sydney family – alumni, parents, and friends. You as a parent can make a difference by volunteering. The Annual Fund is one of the many areas (admissions, career services, student life, etc.) that a parent’s efforts can benefit the College tremendously. The College welcomes your help. For more information, call Richard Epperson, Assistant Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations, (800) 865-1776 or e-mail him at repperson@hsc.edu.
