The Fine Arts Quartet is one of the most distinguished ensembles in chamber music today, with an illustrious history in its performances and its legacy of recordings. Three members have been performing together for 25 years. Each season the Fine Arts Quartet tours such major musical centers worldwide as New York, Rome, Moscow, Beijing, Istanbul, Mexico City, and Toronto. Among its many prestigious awards are the Chamber Music America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming in 2004 and the complete Schumann Quartets CD for the Grammy Awards Entry List in 2008. In addition to serving as Artists-in-Residence at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, members of the Quartet serve as guest professors here and abroad, and as jury members of major international competitions.
